what is he law on marine insurance, do you need third party on coastal waters.?
Looking for marine insurance but quoted nearly £800 for small fast fisher. I dont seem able to get third party only - whats the legal requirement.
You do not say what the insurance is for. Private use or commercial use. Your local marina will be able to give you much better quotes than £800 if a private boat and your local association will do the same if you are a commercial craft.
If having problems do contact the RYA (contact details below)and they will sort things out. BUT do get insurance, things can and do go wrong and you will very sorry if you do not have insurance.
