My 1994 Ford Escort keeps blowing fuses for the fuel pump even when the key is off, is this real abnormal?
I replaced the fuse a few months ago and the car ran fine. We took out the other fuses and kind of used them up putting them in the slot for the fuel pump, but we checked the slots and they popped when we put a small piece of wire or the end of a screw driver there---they won't short out tho when you replace them. Any suggestions would help.
check the wire harness going to the fuel pump in the gas tank - maybe it is worn through and shorting out
