Volvo / Penta output shaft can be installed in a mercenary retro?
wondering if I should buy a boat with the departure of MAC. How both need to be rebuilt, or it could be enhanced by modern production, and even realistic to do?
boat ... OK, MAC walk better simply not! The MAC or corresponding age "can be a pain in the ass, also find the parts if necessary. (Of course you need the) reduction of the OMC transom is much larger than Volvo and Merc. also support the motor inside The Boat is different, may be adaptive, but you have (re) construct a new picture. Look for Volvo P or better ... Mercruiser because they have all the Power-Trim! (Except the verry earlier versions) Good luck!
