HOW do i adjust the idle on my holley 670 cfm street avenger dp carburetor?

OK i have a SB chevy with pro comp aluminum heads and edelbrock airgap intake and it is idling way to high and running way to rich it also is trying to stay on when i turn it off. I did not build this motor i bought it and let it sit for about 2 years running once every 2 months or so i have already changed the oil and also need to adjust the lifters.

I am trying to adjust the carburetor but i don't know how and i was wondering if there is a website that someone could recommend? or even give me some advice as to how to do this????

Ok my background I am not a mechanic but i am a heavy collision bodyman and painter and i do own a shop for ten years I am 29 years young so i have not began to focus on the mechanical end of my career just yet but i think it it time to start. I have all the tools to pull this dam motor completely apart and the know how i just don't tune these dam things or build them lol last time i helped build a motor i was in high school marine mechanics class..

ahh good carb! I have that exact one. if you go on holley's website they should have exploded views of their products. Do you know where you attach the throttle cable to the carb? there should be a screw pointing towards the intake manifold around the linkage. counter clockwise to lower idle, clockwise to raise the idle. good luck
