can you take a bible with you to Marine Boot Camp?

if it is a small bible can you take it to basic with you?

ok thanks. ya i was wondering about it cause on the list of stuff my recruiter gave me to take all it said was religious scriptures so i didn't know if it meant an entire Bible or just a few notes or something.

Yes, you can bring religious texts/materials (Of appropriate size, of course). I would suggest getting a pocket-sized one, probably less than 6" each direction.

Be advised that they will flip through it and such when you arrive, so don't try to be slick and hide stuff inside your bible thinking they won't find it. They will.
