Towing with a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L?

This spring, I have to tow a trailer 21 feet, 1987 Bayliner Capri boat about 20-25 km on storage for sale. The trailer has surge brakes only and the Jeep was recently put on the brakes front and rear. He closed the road to overdrive off the trailer, I wonder if my Jeep is capable of handling a trip with this boat. The trailer has 2 axles Shorelander trailer. I do not want to dirty up my jeep! no idea on the vehicle once using my Jeep! trailer has only 4 legs absorb the light, I have no trailer brakes on the trailer full time. Braking is my No. 1 concern here, really.

I have a 97 Grand Cherokee and have not had a problem towing a Trophy 20 'Bayliner with double axle trailer, it weighs about 4400 pounds. Having said all this is assuming your jeep is properly equipped is, at least from Class IV and harness the trailer brakes good .... etc. EDIT: If the trailer has brakes increased standard 4-legged sling will work well. I remember only increase the stopping distance, leave plenty of space between you and the vehicle ahead. BTW I have more tire sizes and can pull The Boat over and leave without problems, it just takes longer.
